Foresight
now has new offices, the new address is, 60 Newmarket Street, Grimsby, North
East Lincolnshire, DN32 7SF. Foresight has charity status and overall responsibility
rests with a fifteen person board of trustees.
The aims and objectives of the project are to provide the way forward for the sensory impaired and disabeled people of North East Lincolnshire, organising events and activities that are designed to offer opportunities that non sensory impaired and able bodied people take for granted. Through the work of the charity we are striving to improve individual quality of life, combat social exclusion and encourage personal development through volunteering and training opportunities.
Foresight consults with individuals and service providers ensuring no activities are duplicated and only organises events requested by service users. Foresight currently offers a wide range of sporting activities, regular social events and learning opportunities in conjunction with local societies and organisations. Foresight also operates an IT Training project, and a telephone support/help line service. We also have a fully operational Audio Sound Studio.
Foresight feel it is essential to raise awareness of the problems caused by sensory impairment and physical disability.
