Gliding over Kirton

Taking to the Skies:

September 17th started out just like any other, except that an intrepid band of Foresight members were about to take to the skies, and some for the very first time.

Taster Day:

We were going to The Trent Valley Gliding Club at Kirton Airfield. The day was a Taster Day, which was manned by volunteers, the helpers, winch operators and pilots. The group were tireless in their endeavours to make the day a memorable one. The pilots, Brain and Tony were masters of the air, and upon landing, you could have held a cup of tea in your hand without it being split.

And again...

We all enjoyed it so much, that we had a second flight.
