Recent Activities and Events
Get Active, Get Involved:
Below is a list of activities and events that members of Foresight have been participating in. If any of these appeal to you then just ask us for more information... or maybe you've got an idea for a trip or activity you want to share with others at Foresight? Let us know and we'll do what we can to help.
Foresight's Most Recent Activity:
Memorial Hall Exhibition:
I am pleased to be able to report that the exhibition held at the Memorial Hall on the 29TH and 30TH April which was opened by The Mayor of North East Lincolnshire, Councillor Peter Barker, was a great success. Despite the inclement (rotten) weather, we had a very good turn out. Everyone that made it to the event said they were very pleased with the exhibits they saw and learnt a lot.
The Exhibitors:
The exhibitors were also very pleased, as many of them sold a number of pieces of equipment. We hope to make it an annual event if enough of our members would be interested. If you would like an annual exhibition, perhaps you could let us know at the office. If any of you have any suggestions as to what extra exhibits you would like, we would do our best to include them next year, please let us know.
Jan Lewis.

A Challenge by the local Brownies:
The Foresight Bowling team, The Freerollers, who recently won the National Championship, were challenged to a bowling match by the local Brownies. I think by the end of the match, Honours were Even, with some excellent bowling by ALL.
