Quick and Easy Recipes


Makes 12 flapjacks
75 g- 3 oz butter
3 tbs golden syrup
100 g- 4 oz porridge oats
25 g- 1 oz brown sugar
25 g- 1 oz mixed peel
Method
Line a shallow 20cm x 20cm , 8 in x 10 in rectangular dish with cling film.
Place butter and syrup in a bowl and cook for 1 minute on full. Stir in oats, sugar and peel, mixing thoroughly. Press mixture into base of dish and mark into 12.
Cook for 3 minutes on full. Cool slightly, cut into 12 and allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
