From the Editor:

Forthwrite Journal - December 2004:

The Winter Edition: We have now arrived at the Winter Edition of the Forthwrite Journal, and with only a few weeks to go to Christmas and the New Year. What an amazing year it has been for Foresight. We have had a number of very successful projects, eg, our ten pin bowling team The FreeRollers, won the National Finals. Our very successful and well received show, by The Foresight Players at the Whitgift Theatre. The Memorial Exhibition. Myself, and my wife Jan, were invited to York to receive a special Community Champions award. Jan for her Memorial Exhibition, and myself, for the creation of The Forthwrite Journal. The launch of the new Web Site, and many Taster Days. It has been quite a year.

New Activities:

There have been two new activities made available to the visually impaired, eg. The new cinema at Cleethorpes, which now has an audio descriptive link, and the rifle shooting at Keelby, where the targeting is done by sound.

End of the Year:

And now, we are the end of the first year of the Forthwrite Journal, it would be nice if I could have some feedback as to any changes or inclusions to its format, or if you would like it to remain the same. Please don't forget that I need your stories and articles, and your impressions of any activities that you may have done, with photos if possible.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all A Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

And finally: This Edition of The Forthwrite Journal is my last, as I have edited 4 editions of the Journal as financed by V.A.N.E.L (Voluntary Actions for North East Lincolnshire) the editorial reins have been handed over to another.
I will however continue to update the website, so any inclusions to the site can be emailed to me, at the usual Editor's Email address.
